This supersized Ford Transit was a real challenge. Pieter and Bianca liked to have an original Rotring rapidoliner drawing on their black sleddog transporter. For a white background hardly a problem to make a design, on this black background I had to draw in inverted colours! A total new experience for me.
At Hofland & Roovers an enormeous adhesive (120 x 300 cm) was produced and weatherproof glued on the Ford Transit: a four dog Alaskan Malamute team, a portrait of their first dog and a Nordic two dog team in a Scandinavian landscape.

A good scanned drawing makes the difference! It took me quite some while to make these drawings in Rotring rapidograph.25 on papersize 80 x 100 cm. The team of Tiny and Luud Ubaghs. They had adhevies made and glued on their Mercedes van. To be honest no precisely the way I designed and meant it, but Tiny and Luud prefered separating one dog from the drawing and had it placed on the bonnet. The other day I made a painting (140 x 70 cm, acrylic on Di-Board) for the Labrador-Retriever kennels "Von Guam" of Juergen Schroeder in Breitenberg, Schleswig Holstein (Germany). In the middle his dogs Camilla, Chita and Wendy. Next to the huntsman his favorite dog Otella and on the right side is Duffy jumping into the water picking up some game.
